Why does Allah try to scare us?

He says in the surah... save yourself and your family from the fire. A fire that is so hot that it will scald faces people will be given their own pus to drink and water that will be so hot it will scald the face. Food will be given but it will have no nourishment and while in the fire when the skin shall become roasted and charred angels will pull your skins out (which will be terrible it is and replace the skin with a new one and you will be thrown back into the fire. And that's just a gist of it. There are enough other punishments to give you sleepless nights.

Not getting into the specifics that no one around the immediate vicinity has sleepless nights - the prophet and his companions couldn't sleep - why isn't it simply mentioned that you should worship your good because he is your creator.
