Finding a Leader

Look at Simon sinek video leadership had nothing to do with rank and
Nir eyals article about leadership

Haven't you heard that politics is a dirty thing. Ask anybody who considers himself honest and a person of integrity. It is also the statement of cowards who don't want to stand up for what they believe in. They will tell you politics is bad and yet they do not contribute to the well being of the country in any way. It is our way of hiding behind other people who would like to lead. Ambitious people. People not necessarily honest people we don't like. That's how we end up electing the least worst of the worst

Standing up for what we believe in.

If we don't stand for what we believe in know that someone else will. No, not stand up for what we believe in he will stand for he believes in.

Honesty integrity
he ideology of honesty does have its appeal. Men used to die for honor. That may have been a long time ago. Even when i was a child I heard things like a poor man has nothing but honesty and integrity. Two faced liars and back stabbers were looked down upon. Today they rule us and the men of learning and integrity serve them well. Re assuring themselves that they are doing the next best thing.

The Fear in Our Lives

It may be politics, but what are the people doing? In the age of internet and quick news do people not want to acknowledge the truth or is it simply don't trust it. We in Mumbai don't trust anything. When somebody is lying on the road after an accident, we are okay watching him die. These days we may even video graph him but not help him. That is because we fear getting into Police problems. Nobody trusts the police. Only if you know that it is necessary will someone go to the police.

Rape victims, domestic violence they are particularly afraid. Maybe the police will turn the whole thing on its head. If the perpetrator has political connections then god help you!

The Message in the Chaos, the Message of Chaos

A man has questioned the powers that be. He was trolled. He was threatened. he apologised. He resigned from the party he supported since his own leader respected the person he had questioned. No! He did not insult anyone. He just questioned somebody's presence and it was taken as an insult. However he raised a question. What was his question by the way?
If I am not wrong then the man's original question was what was the saint revered as he maybe by a community doing in the vidhan sabha. Are we setting a precedent to invite religious speakers to our institutions of elected office. If yes then why stop at Jain why not Sikhism and Buddhism. I named these only because i believe they are pertaining to that state else every religion has something good to say. Or simply keep them away from places like these since it gives the idea a certain religion is being given more importance over others in a place where it is preferred to keep personal opinion limited to the good of people at large. And Jainism which claims to be peaceful but forcibly shuts down shutters of non vegetarian joints during their festivals.
The point is that it has become a habit to create enough chaos to lose the actual point in the din and many times it is deliberate. We are going from a democracy to a situation where only the strong can do what they like.
The public is the strongest, the real mahabali so they are best kept ignorant illiterate and fearful of each other so that they never unite.

Why women take all our insults?

Does the fact that we have taken them as wives give us power over them or have we taken an oath to share our lives?
Why is it we expect the woman to wash our clothes, make our food, take care of our children and warm our beds inspite of all we do. What do we do? We like to believe we give them food and shelter. Some may even say that we are better husbands than the drunkards who hit their wives, but the fact is we do insult them time and again when we do get the chance.
This is the normal middle class I am talking about. Educated or not we simply believe the wife is our property. That is because we have been taught so, by no other than our mothers who would not like the same treatment to be given to her daughter.

Why does Allah try to scare us?

He says in the surah... save yourself and your family from the fire. A fire that is so hot that it will scald faces people will be given their own pus to drink and water that will be so hot it will scald the face. Food will be given but it will have no nourishment and while in the fire when the skin shall become roasted and charred angels will pull your skins out (which will be terrible it is and replace the skin with a new one and you will be thrown back into the fire. And that's just a gist of it. There are enough other punishments to give you sleepless nights.

Not getting into the specifics that no one around the immediate vicinity has sleepless nights - the prophet and his companions couldn't sleep - why isn't it simply mentioned that you should worship your good because he is your creator.

Rape is the woman's fault!!

Women's Pipe Dreams

Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India. According to the National Crime Records Bureau 2013 annual report, 24,923 rape cases were reported across India in 2012. Out of these, 24,470 were committed by someone known to the victim (98% of the cases).

2. “Boys are boys, they make mistakes.”
– Mulayam Singh Yadav, Samajwadi party chief

3. “Young people go drinking and it often leads to law and order problems. Our sisters and daughters are getting spoilt.”
– Sudin Dhavalikar, Goa Public Works Department minister

5. “Rape is a social crime which depends on the man and the woman. It is sometimes right and sometimes wrong.”
– Babulal Gaur, BJP politician and Madhya Pradesh home minister

9. Ninety per cent of rapes are “consensual”.
– Dharamveer Goyat, Hisar Congress spokesperson

12. “Girls should be married at 16, so that they have their husbands for their sexual needs, and don’t need to go elsewhere.”
— Sube Singh Samain, Haryana Khap Panchayat leader

13. “Chowmein leads to hormonal imbalance evoking an urge to indulge in such acts.”
– Jitender Chattar, Haryana Khap Panchayat leader

What women want

The female venerated goddess to some and an object of lust for some. They should be respected, shouldn't they? We somehow enjoy reducing them to just objects whatever our perspective is.

Dream of an equal society

The politics of hiding behind the news

This tactic is not new and we all know about it. The problem is that we realise what is happening and we just let it go. Some people have come to realise that when the news channels start screaming about something too much, it means there is a possibility that some scam is going down and the news is just dust on our eyes. However, the best we do is talk about it ourselves and that's it. I think we should take one step forward. I don't know what your step is but take it a notch higher start more buzz around the smaller news that effect economy and our rights as citizens. If nothing, make the establishment a little more cautious that we are informed citizens and not just fools they want us to be.

I don't trust the establishment. Not because they are bad guys, but because they are the establishment. They are accountable. We have elected them to do certain jobs for us so that we don't have to. Not because we want to relax, but we need someone full time to get those things done.

At our homes we trust the people we employ. The house cleaner, the cook etc enjoy our gratitude and watchman. However, when we pay them we hold them accountable for things broken, stolen and spoilt. We certainly do not allow them to slap us, back-chat at us and have fun at our expense. They too avoid corruption because if they are caught the most certainly will be asked to leave. So, why does the guys at the establishment enjoy perks most common people only dream of, yet are not held accountable. They get elected every time even when they tell the electorate things like 'do you want me to pee if there is no rain'. Imagine that!

Cauvery water dispute: Politicians, officials and media only add to confusion not truth

This is the usual route to most if not all Breaking News. This is what is usual not at all surprising. This is just the headline. Telling us what usually happens. This is just a start of analysis of other news that will happen.

As to the bad neighbor

On Facebook
It may be politics but what are the people doing? In the age of internet and quick news do people not want to acknowledge the truth or is it simply don't trust it. We in Mumbai don't trust anything. If the perpetrator had political touches then good help you if you have Apaches the police.

The message in the chaos

hat bad man vishal dadlani has apologised and he resigned from aap. He should have been shot. How dare he question the powers that be. And Jainism which claims to be peaceful but forcibly shuts down shutters of non vegetarian joints during their festivals.
The point is that it has become a habit to create enough chaos to lose the actual point in the din and I think many times it is deliberate. Did the saint say d something pertinent to the assembly or was he there just to be honored.
